This Bavaria 44, Built in 2001, is the perfect example of a wonderful cruiser. Everything has been built around the extensive expertise of German engineering, which was at a high level at that time. She is not only robust and safe, but is also quick and handles beautifully both under sail and motoring. With the recent extensive modifications, she is comfortable and extremely well equipped. The boat has had only one owner and partner from new (they still own her) and has been lovingly maintained. The almost new Volvo Penta D55 engine, with only 705 hours, provides reliable propulsion and coupled with a FeatherStream feathering prop, allows easy cruising under power of over 7 knots at only 1800 RPM This vessel is also equipped with a retractable bow thruster for easy manoeuvring Amongst its many extras and additional features, the boat includes a 100m chain deployed by an electric windlass, which greatly improves the options for deeper water anchoring safety.
